Das Wort
Fundraising update
Dear Friends,
I feel honored to be able to share the new with our wider community that as of Good Friday, April 3, 2026, the Sophia Foundation was able to donate $49,076.46 to the Verein zur Förderung der Anthroposophischen Arbeit (Association for the Promotion
of Anthroposophical Work). These funds will contribute towards an eventual English translation of Judith von Halle’s great work, Das Wort: In den sieben Reichen der Menschwerdung; Eine Rosenkreuz-Meditation (The Word: In the seven Realms of Incarnation; a Rosenkreuz-Meditation).
The efforts towards this fundraising began only in the summer of 2023; it is incredible that we so quickly raised this amount! I particularly want to extend my gratitude to Karen Rivers and Brian Wolff for their successful outreach efforts, and especially, to the donors who have offered these funds for the future.
I will note that currently the translation effort is being taken on by Elizabeth Marshall, a friend of Judith von Halle and translator of several anthroposophical works, the most recent of which is Judith von Halle’s Master of the White Lodge. In September of this year, we can already look forward to an excerpt from Das Wort: The Inner Word: On the Daily Intimate Dialogue of the Soul with Christ.
We must keep in mind that the translation of a five volume work will take time, and so we must be patient—nevertheless, I feel confident and hopeful that within the next seven years, we will have an English edition of The Word available to us. Let us send our gratitude and prayers of support to Elizabeth for taking on this monumental effort!
With warm Whitsuntide greetings to all,
Joel Matthew Park, on behalf of the board of the Sophia Foundation
